Brewhouse and Mt. Helena

Bill was exhausted from all the activity the past couple of days and the time zone change so we didn't meet with them today.  I caught up on laundry and a few other things while Ted went out hunting for more parts for the motor home.  We didn't do much at all until dinner time when we decided to go downtown and find somewhere interesting to eat.  I found a brew pub called the Brewhouse on the map and was able to get us there.  They had several beers on tap that were made by local Helena breweries so that is what we had.  I had the Tumbleweed IPA and Ted had the Lewis and Clark Amber Ale.  Both were really good.  The place had lots of old signs that brought back some memories and we had fun reading them. The food was delicious and we were stuffed when we left.  The onion rings has coconut in the batter and were really crispy.  Yummm!

Do You Remember S&H Green Stamps?!?
We drove up to the park at Mt. Helena and climbed the short hill from the parking lot to get a good view of the city.  With the change in altitude from Florida, one beer made us a little tipsy so we didn't want to chance much hiking.  Besides that, it was probably around nine.  It stays light so late here.  Back home in time for Ted to fall asleep in the chair.
