I got up and made a large lasagna for dinner and sent Ted back to the store again to get some French bread to make into garlic bread. While he was out, he drove to White Sandy, the campground on the Missouri that we had originally planned to stay in. He said the sites were really pretty but there was no water or electric and the distance to Bonnie's would have been further. Lois called to say they wouldn't be going to Glacier National Park with us which we totally understand. They came out to visit with Bonnie and Tim, not us. We just inserted ourselves into their family and we all got caught up in the idea that it would be nice for them to see Glacier without thinking about how much time it would take away from their family visit.
We were supposed to paddle the Missouri River with Bonnie and Bill this afternoon but it was so windy we decided against it. At about seven, the Ellsworths and Weavers came for dinner. We had a nice meal and great conversation. It was sad saying goodbye because we won't see any friends and family for quite awhile but we are grateful for the time that we had to spend with them.
