Golfing and Shopping

Ted, who hasn't golfed in several years, went golfing with Harold late morning.  He practiced some shots out into their beautiful field before they left.  Despite the fact that he hadn't  golfed in awhile, he did really good according to Harold but was one sore, tired guy by the time they finished.

Peaches and I went to two really nice quilt shops in Bozeman to look and get ideas.  I was looking for fabric to make a bag I had bought a pattern for several years ago and although the fabric was really nice it was pricey.  I did buy a pattern and template for a pumpkin wall hanging or in my case, window hanging.  For lunch we went to the golf club and ate outside overlooking the ninth green.  The food was great and the setting was beautiful.

After lunch we went to JoAnns and I found fabric for my bag as well as some for the wall hanging.  While at the mall we shopped in Penneys where they were having great sales on Liz Claiborne clothing.  We had fun trying on tops and passing what we didn't want back and forth over the walls in the dressing rooms.  I haven't had such a great girls day out in a long time and I only bought three tops.

When we got back, we went our separate ways.  I was sitting in the front seat of the motorhome and looked out to see a rainbow from horizon to horizon.  I went in to get Peaches so she wouldn't miss it and took lots of pictures.  When the guys returned, Harold barbecued chicken and we had Peaches' bean salad and roasted cauliflower as well as the best brownies with ice cream.  Again, the food and company were wonderful.
